Apply for Federal Financial Aid on the web. Cuts processing time from 4-6 weeks to 1-2 weeks. You still need to print a signature page and send it in, but this is a much faster way to file your FAFSA.

You can find out the school code for any college here in order to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This allows you to send your financial information to the schools you are considering attending to see how much financial aid they will offer you.

You can search over 600,000 potential scholarships here to find ones that match you. There are several ways to search this database which makes it easy to find the scholarships that interest you.
Peterson's Financial Aid

Peterson's site requires you to register for CollegeQuest which is a large database of scholarships that are compared with your personal profile to find matches for you. This site also has great information about choosing a college and a career.
CASHE

Cashe allows you to create a personal profile that is compared to a database of scholarships and it provides information to you through e- mail about scholarships for which you may qualify.
