College-Wide Committees

Committees which have a college-wide purpose report to College Council. College Council may decide to refer issues to President's Council. Reporting calendars will vary depending on the scope of issues being discussed. Part-time faculty representation on committees with a "U" will be paid for committee representation. Duties of the committee chair include: manage the committee's charge; maintain the minutes and meeting schedule; ensure that his/her committee have representation from all constituencies (Classified, Exempt, Faculty, Part-time Faculty, and Students); assign rotating terms/slots.

Internal Advisory Committees

Established to advise a person, office, or function. Internal advisory committees report to a Vice President, Dean, or Director. These committees will normally represent all constituencies and link with other committees. Expectations will vary depending on each committee's charge. They do not necessarily need to have assigned rotating slots. The committee chair will be responsible for managing the charge and membership.
